Immediate danger or medical emergency
If harm has happened, an overdose is suspected, or you or someone else may act now, contact emergency services immediately. In India, call 112. If safe, ask someone nearby to call and stay with you. Do not wait for symptoms after an overdose or rely on this chat to assess safety.
Human mental-health support in India
Tele-MANAS provides mental-health support on 14416 or 1800-891-4416. It is separate from emergency response. If you cannot get through and danger is immediate, call 112 or seek emergency medical care.
Outside India
Use your local emergency service in immediate danger. The 988 Lifeline serves the United States; Samaritans provides routes for the UK and Ireland. Check the relevant service for your location rather than using an overseas number as a local emergency contact.
If someone is hurting or threatening you
Consider whether it is safe to use this device. Avoid confrontation if it could increase danger. Contact emergency or specialist support when safe. Clearing the chat does not erase device or browser history.
